Metal polymer rope PRSH is designed for a trellis arrangement at vineyard and intensive gardens cultivation.
A trellis rope is made from high-quality brass-plated wire and coated with high wear-resistant polymer. The polymer was specially worked out by SSI “The Institute of Mechanics of Metal polymer systems named after V.A. Beliy of the National Academy of Sciences of The Republic of Belarus” for using at trellis making in agriculture.

Rope for trellis:
- resistant to solar radiation;
- withstands temperature from – 40° to + 110 °С;
- rope length doesn’t change at temperature changes in winter and summer what means that there is no need to weaken or increase rope stretching;
- polymer coating is chemically neutral and resistant to chemicals. Rope doesn’t burn and doesn’t damage young plants at treatment against pests and diseases;
- the design life is not less than 20 years (researches of SSI “The Institute of Mechanics of Metal polymer systems named after V.A. Beliy of the NAS of Belarus”); actually confirmed – 9 years;
Series of tests were carried out to verify the quality of output product.
At RUE “Institute for Fruit Growing” (Republican Scientific and Production Subsidiary Unitary Enterprise the Institute for Fruit Growing) Minsk, in an intensive apple garden, in a raspberry cane and in a vineyard experimental plots with “trellis Tanis” are installed. The institute specialists confirm the comfort of rope using and its economic efficiency at exploitation.
SSI “U.A. Beliy Institute of Mechanics of Metal polymer systems” of the National Academy of Sciences of The Republic of Belarus, Gomel, tested PRSH rope samples for accelerated climatic aging under load on resistance to climatic factors (UV radiation, temperature changes). That analysis allowed determine operation period not less than 20 years in temperate climate conditions.
NSC "Tairov Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking» Odessa, tested metal polymer rope PRSH for resistance of its shell to abrasion at contact with the polymer lugs (clips). When the test was completed during the rope examination there were no externally visible abrasion, cracks and gaps signs of the polymer coating.
Nowadays CSJC “Tanis” is the only manufacturer of this type of products in the CIS.
“TrellisTanis” is used in more than 40 farms of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.

Two people are enough for rope installation without machines involvement.
It can be any length of rope on a spool/reel that allows reduce rope loses at installation. “Trellis Tanis" comes with plastic clips for securing wire to intermediate piles. Clips are made from UV resistant polymer and they don’t damage a rope.
